I really LOVE sweet potatoes, and although it is a bit early, I couldn't resist checking out a few likely bulges in the garden soil while the latest soap firms up a bit...  It has been said that in order to bring out a better flavor, one should cure these babies, but-ooh I just couldn't wait! I was not disappointed either, although I just washed this luscious yum yum, wrapped it, and popped it into the oven with three of it's smaller siblings after tenderly talking (Reminiscent of Gollum with his Precious, no doubt!) to it as I gently freed it from the dirt with my bare hands. Thank God it rained the other day, because it's skin was so delicate a shovel or other tool would have injured it terribly! Will one of my precious yummies ever end up in soap? Oh that is definitely not very likely! The belly always comes first in this situation and I can never seem to have enough! But..there are other sources for such things..However, if oatmeal, honey & almond milk soap sounds appealing, it shall be available in a day or two.
