Smooth Salt Soap?

When you think of a salt soap, you probably think that it is gritty, full of salt grains and highly exfoliating. It's true that some salt soaps are made this way. Due to our special process of incorporation here at Crafted Herbals, salt does not mean a gritty bar that exfoliates and dries like mad. Our mission is to incorporate the beneficial minerals into the matrix of the soap so that it is released when you lather up. We don't want the salt just mixed into the soap, and sitting there in visible grains that stay behind as the soap dissolves, so we don't make it that way. Due to our process, we can work with salts that other soap makers won't touch. Our soaps with Dead Sea salt have all of it's benefits without being harsh, gooey or crumbly. Our soaps with Epsom and Sea salts release magnesium and sea minerals without scraping your skin. Truly, the skins around here are too delicate to handle salt abrasion, so we choose other natural exfoliants that scrub a bit more gently!

Sadly for some, and gladly for us, there is nothing gritty or exfoliating about this Ultrarefined Herb & Mineral Soap.
