New Soap on the Agenda

My sage is coming on righteously and I can't wait for the illite clay that I ordered from far lands to arrive so that I can incorporate it into sage soap! Illite clay is popularly known as French green clay and it is one of my favorites. When I use French green clay as a mask, I combine it with water and a few drops of jojoba oil because left on it's own it is so powerful it makes my face itch. The jojoba oil takes care of that nicely and it leaves my skin smooth and with pores reduced. 

While I'm waiting for my clay, I'm making an olive oil infusion from this nice healthy sage. It will be a few weeks before I get to make the sage and French green clay soap that I'm coveting.
However, the chamomile soap ingredients are almost ready so that variety will be done next week-and it will be chock full of chamomile by way of several different incorporation methods. 

I never run out of rosemary, and another powerful herbal combination that I can't wait to make will be a rosemary and tea tree oil blend. I think some French green clay will be a nice addition for this one too.
Nothing beats fresh rosemary and sage for tastiness in various foods either. I like putting both in salads for a pungent surprise. A nice thing about these two is that I can generally use them fresh year round. The sage dies back a bit, but the rosemary doesn't. I'm forever spoiled and can't be satisfied with either in dry form now.
