 I have not been particularly enthused about doing any felted soap until I realised all of the possibilities! It didn't have to be just a wrapped up felted bar or oval of soap, it didn't have to be flat, smooth, etc. So, I gave it a go on a tangent. This particular fuzzy little owl is felted around pure unscented 100% olive oil cold processed Castile soap. My daughter sent a picture to one of her friends and I am making her a Rosemary and Tea Tree scented owl in the colors of her choice. These owls don't happen overnight, but if one doesn't mind a premade base soap, then it only takes a couple of days because I am not a speedy felter. The felting process is by far the most time consuming aspect since I combine two techniques. I have a boring old bar of felted Castile for my own bath at the moment, and alas-no owl for myself! Would you like an owl?
