I finally got a chance to get out and check my chokes after our little snow and freeze. Its late season for eating but a great time for planting these native perennial sun flowers. Beware, my sun plants get 15 feet tall so prepare to host them accordingly. If you want to really commune with these plants, you can contact me for an appointment to harvest your own roots, for $1/ pound. I have grown these wonderful plants for years now, and you can too.
