Description
True Egyptian blue lotus is indeed a rare plant. This is not that. This is a nymphaea cultivar from Siam, and it is what you are going to find alllll over the internet, labeled as Egyptian blue lotus. This cultivar is good for skin & hair, body oils, and love spells. I cannot attest to its safety nor effectiveness if one chooses to ingest it. I can say that I have indeed had a cup or two of tisane of one blossom per cup without ill effects. This is by no means a full scientific study, and caution should always be employed when experimenting with anything. Allergic reactions are always possible, for anyone.
