Every product is 100% humanly tested on contrary and weathered woman skin and body parts. Every soap is formulated without complicated petrochemicals in order to gently remove toxins and leave your skin or your dog's skin simply fresh and clean.
Who is Most at Risk from Skin contact with Toxic Chemicals?
Truly, some skins are more permeable and delicate than others. Is it me, you, our companion animals or our children? Find out more:
It is possible to develop an allergy to any substance, synthetic or natural regardless of whether it is a first time use or after many uses. I believe the best way to lessen the chance of an unfortunate experience is by keeping a formula simple and disclosing all ingredients used in a product in regular language so that people may make informed choices.
Wouldn't you rather pay for a quality product than an expensive label or package? Does it make you happy when there is less of a package to dispose of because you want to minimize harm to our environment? I label my products as effectively as possible with the least amount of materials possible. The only products that are fully wrapped or enclosed are the ones that I feel absolutely have to be in order to preserve their freshness, scent or to keep them from going everywhere. I strive to package in low cost materials that can be composted, recycled or re purposed.
Authentic Handmade Soap
Crafted Herbals soap really is handmade in my kitchen. Many advertisers of handmade soap actually buy wholesale soap that is purported to be handmade elsewhere or use pre-made melt and pour soap and then sell it under their own label. My tools are our 30 year old kitchen pots and pans, spoons, an electric hand mixer, our electric stove top, and the mold I made myself out of wood we had on hand. I use no human made chemicals in my saponification process other than the pure sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide that I combine with my oils and water.
How is Natural Soap Made?
'Natural' + soap = wording that scientifically cancels its self out. I can't ethically call soap natural. Soap is made from chemicals that have been created by humans: NaOH (sodium hydroxide) and KOH (potassium hydroxide). Can any form of soap be found in nature? Certain plants containing saponins have been employed as cleansing agents (soap nuts are an example) and Saponification does occur in nature! But how?
